How many college graduates end up successful is a question of debates. What must be the rootcause of this failures. Taking a look at the system of education in the college level of each college or university, there is a repetitive subjects which should end up in the highschool era. I just wondered why it wasnt given a look by proper authorities. If you are taking an engineering course, subjects about filipino, history and literature should be abolished in the engineering course. Those subjects had long been taken in elementary n highschool days. Many students cant concentrate on their courses specifically their majors because this subjects take most of their times which should be focused on their distinctive courses. And mostly these non essential subjects are the ones that requires so many requirements from students. These are waste of money and time upon which students in college should give much attention to their chosen course which they will use in their future jobs. English and math should be the only subjects retained in college. Other foreign language should be a must for students to learn. Until they got their jobs, they wont know where they will land their jobs. There should be a change in the subject curriculum on each courses. If the students can concentrate more on their chosen courses, then a better if not the best graduates can be produce yearly.
